This section includes two resources to support film analysis writing. "Writing About Film: Terminology and Starting Prompts" introduces key cinematic terms and offers guiding questions to help students begin analyzing films. "Film Writing: Sample Analysis" presents a rhetorical analysis of the opening scenes of Ex Machina, with editorial commentary (marked by Ed.: in italics) that highlights the author's rhetorical strategies. Together, these resources provide both foundational tools and a practical example for writing about film.
