English Conversation Groups
If you are a Purdue University student or scholar whose first language is not English, the On-Campus Writing Lab's conversation groups are a terrific way to improve your fluency and expand your vocabulary. The conversation groups are also a great way to meet other Purdue community members, share perspectives and experiences, and learn more about other cultures.
Each week, the conversation groups will focus on a different topic. You will discuss these topics with fellow internationals and a On-Campus Writing Lab consultant who can help you with vocabulary and expressions you may not know. The goal of the conversation groups is that you learn to speak more comfortably about topics that are important to you.
Sign-up is available via our online scheduler. Use the drop-down menu for Group Programs. If you are unable to attend, please use the online scheduler to cancel the appointment.
