The Weekly Writer
This summer, the Weekly Writer is published every two weeks while classes are in session. As always, please share this information with anyone who might be interested.
Writing Lab News & Events
Closed for Independence Day
The Writing Lab will be closed Wednesday, July 4, 2018. We will reopen for our normal hours on Thursday, July 5th.
Summer Hours
Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Our trained tutors assist all undergraduate and graduate students working on any writing project, in any stage of the writing process, May 14 - August 2. Online and in-person sessions are available.
Workshops
The Writing Lab offers free workshops for all Purdue students, staff, and faculty to get hands-on practice with different aspects of writing in an interactive, small-group setting.

All workshops are held in HEAV 220, 12:30 - 1:30 PM. Registration is required, so visit our online schedule and choose the "Group Workshops" schedule from the menu.
Conversation Groups
Visit our daily conversation groups to enhance your English language skills. Groups are free and open to Purdue students, staff, and faculty.
Mondays: 10:30 - 11:30 AM
Tuesdays: 2:00 - 3:00 PM
Wednesdays: 10:30 - 11:30 AM
Thursdays (TV Snack Chat): 2:00 - 3:00 PM
