New Location for Purdue On-Campus Writing Lab

The OWL has landed!

While not as dramatic as a lunar landing, the College of Liberal Arts is pleased to announce that Purdue’s On-Campus Writing Lab (OWL) is now located on the second floor of the Krach Leadership Center along the Student Success Corridor.

Formerly the Purdue Writing Lab, the renamed On-Campus Writing Lab lets now shares the OWL name and brand with the Online Writing Lab, one of the world’s most-visited writing websites.

“We are thrilled with our bright new space in the Krach Center,” says Harry Denny, Professor of English and Writing Lab Director. “Our new location between central campus and the residence halls will make the OWL more accessible to more students.”

The On-Campus Writing Lab is open to all Purdue students, faculty and staff on the West Lafayette campus – free of charge. Staff in the writing lab provide one-on-one tutorials to develop writing skills at all levels and across all disciplines and majors.

Tutors work with concerns specific to each client’s academic or professional goals. Topics can include any type of writing including research papers, personal writing, reports, class assignments, resumes, lesson plans, theses and dissertations.

OWL on-campus hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. For a full description of services or to schedule an appointment visit https://owl.purdue.edu/
